Doug and Barb Miller serve as Brethren in Christ missionaries in the African nation of Malawi. They arrived there in April 2000 to begin language and culture acquisition. Initially residing in the Mpalume Village missions house, they eventually came to reside in the town of Mangochi, near Lake Malawi.

Thanks to the Lord's grace and a wonderfully encouraging family, home church, missions organization, national church, individual and congregational supporters, prayer partners, teammates and local colleagues, they have seen fruit! Despite many challenges, the Lord has opened doors and hearts so that they currently have evangelistic and discipleship groups in fourteen villages. They use prayer evangelism, chronological teaching and grassroots compassion to encourage an emerging "movement of multiplication."
